Returning to the Southern Gulf Islands and my home on Salt Spring Island this evening after a quick trip to visit family in Alberta, Canada this week. It's always wonderful to spend time with those we don't get to see very often, and we had a terrific time (even after driving through storms, braving the holiday traffic and missing last night's ferry, LOL!)
